About this position

We wish to appoint a Senior Assistant, in our Financial Advisory team, in our office in Athens.

Our Financial Advisory team is client oriented, providing Financial Due Diligence, Deal Advisory, Business Plans, Debt Restructuring, Valuation and Forensic Investigations services.

The candidate will work in a professional environment with strong team spirit, participating in interesting and challenging projects and developing self into a highly qualified professional.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial and other information
  • Identify key value drivers and trends
  • Identify and present potential risks
  • Prepare and review benchmarking and market analysis
  • Draft forecasts and projected financial statements through models
  • Participate in preparing debt restructuring models
  • Assist in reporting to clients and authorities
  • Supervise and develop team members
  • Ensuring the team adheres to Forvis Mazars’ quality control procedures

Requirements

  • BSc in Accounting, Finance, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering
  • 3-5 years of working experience in financial advisory and/or audit
  • Previous experience in business plans, IBR, debt restructuring, due diligence projects is an asset
  • Strong numerical and IT skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details
  • Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English
  • ACCA, FMVA or other qualifications in progress will be considered as a plus
